01/03/07 - Tampa Bay Ready to Start the Clock
As Tampa Bay prepares to start the countdown clock on Super Bowl XLIII, the Tampa Bay Super Bowl Host Committee recently launched its new Web site, www.TampaBaySuperBowl.com. The site will serve as the online portal for news and information surrounding the big game, which will take place at Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 1, 2009.

Developed in partnership with TBO.com, the site welcomes visitors to Tampa Bay and introduces fans to our thriving community. Local citizens can visit TampaBaySuperBowl.com throughout the coming year to learn how they can be a part of the action. The site will have details on volunteering, the Emerging Business program, sponsorship opportunities, events and more.

A small delegation of Tampa Bay community leadership is also preparing to visit Arizona in the coming weeks for Super Bowl XLII. Taking full advantage of its last chance to see a Super Bowl plan in action, officials from the Host Committee and other city agencies will take notes on a myriad of details including security, traffic patterns, volunteer coordination and media outreach.

As Tampa Bay prepares to take the handoff from Arizona, visit www.TampaBaySuperBowl.com to stay in the loop on Super Bowl XLIII preparations.
