Can I still register to volunteer?
The Host Committee has successfully registered more than 6,400 enthusiastic volunteers and has completed the recruitment phase of the volunteer program. At this time, the Host Committee is no longer accepting applications to volunteer.
What types of volunteer opportunities are there?
Volunteers will tackle one of five assignments: NFL Experience, Hotels, Airports, Transportation and Office Operations.
Do I have to attend training?
All volunteers are required to attend one training session specific to their volunteer type.
What if I cannot attend training?
Volunteers unable to attend any scheduled training sessions should email volunteers@tampabaysuperbowl.com. Please provide your full name, email address and telephone number.
Is there an age requirement?
All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age by November of 2008. A valid drivers license or state identification may be used as proof of age. Volunteers must agree to a background check required by the NFL. Volunteer opportunities will be provided on an equal basis without regard to age, sex, race, religion or disability.
How many shifts do I have to work?
Volunteers must be available to work a minimum of two 4-hour shifts.
What type of training is provided to a volunteer?
All volunteers will be required to attend one training session pertaining to their assignment.
What if a volunteer does not have a way to get to their assignment?
All volunteers are required to have reliable transportation.
If I volunteer, is there a chance that I will get Super Bowl tickets?
There are NO Super Bowl tickets available to volunteers.
Can I volunteer to work inside the stadium during Super Bowl XLIII?
There are no volunteers placed by the NFL on game day inside Raymond James Stadium.
Do I have to pay for a volunteer uniform?
Volunteers will receive a complimentary Host Committee uniform.
Where will volunteers park?
The Host Committee will provide complimentary parking for all volunteers. Each volunteer assignment will have a specific parking location. Parking information will be provided during the volunteer information and training sessions.
Can I bring family members or friends with me to my shift?
No family members or friends are allowed while volunteers are on duty, unless they are scheduled to work at the same time.
